As much as I like Liam trading him might be a smart idea. You’ve got some solid bullpen guys who can take the 9th (Graveman, Reylo), you clear up that salary and maybe get some nice pieces.

Hendriks would be challenging to trade. Only a handful of teams are willing to spend that money on a closer and his contract is weirdly structured so that his luxury tax number is much higher than his contract thanks to Ricky’s creative options. He is certainly movable but may not bring the return you’d want, nothing that makes the white Sox dramatically better.
