Romy is a strikeout machine. The scouting reports caught up to him real quick.

Verlander has that locked up.  I don't know why people do this to themselves.

It's pretty close. Cease will have a huge advantage in strikeouts and innings pitched but the ERA gap probably too much to overcome without a bad verlander start

This didn't help one iota.

T-Mobile gifted me the MLB package again this year, so I’ve had no excuse for not watching some or all of any Sox game I want.

My most recent Directv bill had an insert letting me know I have NFL Sunday Ticket for free. So, I now have no excuse for missing Bears games.

I think I’m cursed. My NFL team’s offense seems to have adopted the ground ball philosophy of my favorite MLB team. One long frustrating season bleeding into the next, and I don’t have to miss a minute.

Did to me too. Haven't watched since Tuesday I think. They don't deserve to be watched

It'll be like a 15 inning gap between he and Verlander. That being said, Cease is about 1 bWAR ahead of Verlander and Cease is about 0.8 fWAR behind Verlander.

The difference being the White Sox defense being god awful and the Astros defense being really good. I think Verlander will win over the writers with him coming back from TJS at 39. But in reality, it's really close between them and it really could go either way.

Won't matter.  Cease didn't even get voted into the all star game.  As long as it's a popularity contest...

Have we ever seen a team go from still being in the race on Monday and then eliminated by Sunday with 10+ games to go in the season? This was the week from hell for the Sox.

Nice throw Romy. That was supposed to be routine.

Romy not looking good at all. DP not turned leads to a run.

They couldn't wait to quit.

Maybe we're tanking again to get a better pick..

I guess he officially has that Sox stink on him.  Elvis you're next.

Somebody should alert them this is not the NFL or NBA.

8th inning so lovely

A pile of money set afire might be more productive than this pricy bullpen…

Graveman another amazing signing. Hahn might be the worst GM ever.

If this season didn't make me so angry, this would be funny.

That would require some wisdom or forethought.  These guys have just quit.

Getting swept by the Tigers at home lol

Hands down the worst in Sox history. Only two have a lower winning percentage, but over a much smaller time frame (Hawk one season, Leslie O'Connor over three post WWII seasons).

Did I miss much? I was busy watching Fields stink up the field but yet they pulled out a win. I don’t think I’ve seen this little actions and I believe the fewest posts

Another disappointing season

I guess the season is over?
