  • For the record, I would love nothing more than this team to excel this year and make the postseason.

People act like the frustrations with the Sox are coming just from a 3-4 start, but its a lot more than that.  Its a decade+ of failure bubbling over.  We were promised a world series contender by Hah

  • Yep. Gamethreads are a trip.

Keep it rolling.

Aight Vaughn.  Take one out and make it 5-4.

There's no way Clevinger takes an extension that the Sox are comfortable with giving out if he's actually pitching well.

That's a really good point.

Pitcher is getting behind every hitter and Vaugh swings at first pitch.

Vaughn got a pitch right down the middle also. Got to elevate that

The first pitch was a good one to hit also

I like Vaughn...but I like him better with Jose Abreu at first base.

Can't believe Tim got a hit with RISP!!

Hopefully Lynn can keep them at bay

I'd be more optimistic if Lynn didn't look like s%*# today but hopefully Sox keep chipping away

lmao Joc swung at a pitch that hit him and struck out.

Joc with the all time sales attempt.

Lol. Sure.

Painful way to K.

Pederson is such a ridiculous hitter.  Clown

So does anyone think Lynn can be effective at 90-93 mph?

Yeah, as long as he doesn't keep throwing the cutter right down the middle. He's never been a velocity guy anyhow.

Uh.....what do you think he's been doing for 12 years?

Drilling a dude while he whiffs on strike three has to be a satisfying feeling

Lynn was a mid to high 90s guy for most of his career.

A shortstop makes a play!

In St Louis in his early career sure. In his better starts at Texas absolutely not. He topped out at 94-95.

What happened to Lynn's velo?

He's registering under 90 on some four seamers ... not just cutters.
