4/10- Sox at Twins, 1:10

Featured Replies

Defense gives the Twins 3 runs, but then great Defense by Romy and Burger helps to save the game.

Bullpen very solid.  Great to see.

Jimenez, Moncada now Anderson dealing with issues. LOL. Nothing ever changes. Anderson isn't the "face" of the franchise, he's the face of the injured list!

I'm over Moncada. He just doesn't love the game and only plays when he feels 100%. Well newsflash, none of us feel 100% every day but we all still work and do what we have to do. He is getting paid to

  • Seriously, I would like to come home from work and be able to just sit back on the couch and watch the game. Instead I have to keep trying to sneak it in during work.

Finally a scoreless game by the bullpen

Wasn't yesterday as well?

They put up 0's yesterday too, the problem was that the offense did as well.

BP has only given up 1 in the past 3 games, they are settling in.

Hit 100 and 100.4 there.

Romy saved the game with his defense at second...wouldn't have even been in the game if not for the Anderson knee tweak.

Best finish of the year.

Not having to face Correa Gallo Buxton Kepler Kiriloff 15-20 times helps a bit too.

Hard earned W. Nice job by the bullpen!

That was key because Lopez has been hot out of the gate and Lynn pretty much the exact opposite.

Then the Lucas Giolito 2022-23 Experience.

Great job by Lopez and the bullpen. Given the pitching matchup and Twins lineup, that was a game you need to win 8/10 times

Also a big win considering we gave them basically 8 extra base runners...opportunities with hbp walks errors.

Not a victory you usually get on the road in Minnesota.

Now Lynn or Giolito need to get one of these next two or they're back to 5-8.  6-7 would be much better obviously.

That was perfect today

Definitely like the multi inning strategy there....the more pitches he throws the better the feel on that slider which he has to have to keep batters honest/guessing.

I wonder what the hell Lopez did over the winter to gain 2 MPH on his fastball. He's consistently hitting 99-100 whereas he sat high 90s most of last year.

Extension!

News that Hendricks is cancer free recently and Crochet progressing...if only had any faith in being able to add to roster in June/July.

He said he went in to his offseason prep looking to add explosiveness, knowing that his role was definitely going to be high leverage relief this year.

Maybe it's just knowing he's a 1-inning arm this year, instead of last year where he was GENERALLY a 1-inning guy but had more of a "swingman" role, especially early on.

Maybe he can coach Lucas lol...both have/had more over the top mechanics.

Nice win. Wasn’t pretty tho. Here’s to hoping TA is OK, and we see him in the lineup tomorrow along with Moncada at 3B and AV at 1B.

I’m gonna guess Yoan is back and Tim sits

Sox rule Twins drool.

His stuff is way, way better than last season. I know the early results haven't been great, but he'll be a monster if he can sustain this all year.

I'd sign up for TA missing 1 game in a heartbeat right now
