Man, this season is more brutal thus far than I was expecting.  I was foolish enough to estimate 82-84 wins.  My buddy is gonna make an easy $50 off me.

Just put Yoan or Burger at 2nd. Have nothing else to lose in this lost season.

Beside neglecting the bullpen this series shows where neglecting the bench also comes into play.  

The options there were Romy and Lenyn neither can hit MLB pitching. Phillies bullpen stinks but in a 24 hour span will have embarrassed the White Sox. 

One of these at-bats, they are going to turn this season around.

Baltimore pen was same deal, could not get anyone out then face Sox and have no issues.

Everything about this team is bad. The offense, the pitching, the depth, etc. Too many issues.

Not defending the pitching but when every pitch is stressful because you can't score, it makes matters worse.

Besides being lost look at his batting stance. It's flawed. I went back to look at YouTube videos from 2019 when he did hit his 31 home runs and his left leg wasn't in that awkward of a stance, like his ankle is broke. 

They need to get him out of the lineup and let him work on it in the batting cage or move him way down the lineup.

Even if you fix his stance he has horrible plate coverage and doesn't read breaking balls out of the zone. Every pitcher going forward knows this weakness of Eloy and isn't going to throw any pitch anywhere near the zone for him.

There's a reason they went out and got Andrus. Romy and Sosa just aren't ML level hitters right now and they may never be.
