"They don't quit" is a sometimes reasonable mantra for an amateur team that is outmanned. It's absolutely patronizing for a professional team.

Jeff Cohen of Sox Machine sure did nail it with his astute baseball observations that Rick Hahn has really developed a strong Triple-A club to supply the White Sox big league team with ample talent.

Are they that much worse than the Sox?

Fine by me, trade them all

They're not trading Vaughn, Kopech, Colas, or Benintendi (no on would want him anyway) because they won't get value as they're worth more to the Sox than they are to other teams. So they trade Gio, TA, Hendriks (if he comes back healthy), Cease, Robert, and if they can attach Moncada or Eloy to one of them all the better.

Fixed.

f*** this team.

Their run differential since Sunday is 0. 27 to 27. Including the 1 game against Cinci they won 17-4 and 3 subsequent games against Kansas City.

They have a 17-4 win in May and a negative run differential on the month.

Not a single positive thing from this game, except it’s one game closer to the deadline and one day closer to a new owner

Lucas bailed out his pathetic teammates from leaving Kansas City in last in the worst division in all of sports,

Updated MLB Run Differential

  • 28th Kansas City -53 (11-27)
  • 29th Chicago A. L. -67 (13-25)
  • 30th Oakland -142 (8-30)

If Benintendi gets onto his usual self with a mid 700s OPS by the deadline, and you could move the last 4 years of his deal while eating $15 million or so (make it 4/$50 remaining), shouldn’t you do that?

Is this a new low for this squad? They seem to keep finding new lows.

Sure, but doubt that scenario happens

You need to eat $26.2M per MLB Trade Values, and I think that's a generous figure.

Yeah probably shouldn’t extend overweight mid-late 30’s starting pitchers with bum legs

For sure I wasn't a fan of trade but he had a good 2021 to my surprise and enjoyed the intensity.. Dane dunning and rangers getting the last laugh make a fraction of Lynn and sporting a 1.20. Era

I mean, how many guys can you dfa lol. Lynn should be next. It will never happen but it should.

A 20 loss season is definitely a possibility if he doesn't walk away or shut himself down.

I wouldn’t trade any controllable contract until someone cleans house. The culture is bad and a bunch of trades are not going to cure the fact this team does not have the will to win.

Sox are the worse team, despite records.
