He probably can’t get much of a return anyway.

You’re absolutely right, but a nice start couldn’t have hurt.

Who else is going to sponsor these losers

Satan

Coming into tonight, only the LA Dodgers had more SBs against them. I feel like we probably took the lead tonight.

Starting to feel like that was our 2020 season sponsor.

You know to me, Remillard just feels like the kind of guy who would give us some heroic play against the Cubbies. Of course, Pedro will keep him on the bench to keep experimenting with Burger at 2B....because Jake has been looking so great at the plate lately.

I'm looking at that Sox lineup and I am struggling to see the group of superstars Big Frank is talking about.

If we would like to win games, Remilliard should be in the lineup.  He is one of our best small ball guys , good hustle , can bunt, and higher batting average than most on the team.

This total inability to put these Cub hitters away is nauseating

Len is reading the 1901 American League standings.

Bummer has looked great lately. So that's something.

Jason, I actually have a feeling that for the Sox yes this game is over

Ironically this would take away a HR tonight.

Plus I get the impression that playing Remillard would help set a culture of accountability and meritocracy.

He seems to have done everything right, including inexcusibly playing RF.

That was a Donnybrook of a season

Or they should have never activated Yoan when he’s not even close to being healthy

Showcasing Graveman or something using him in the 7th?

Thinking back, that 5th inning might have been the worst inning of White Sox baseball I've ever seen.

Yep.

Does he need work?

As someone said here previously, his back might end his career early ala Joe Crede

Then Lopez for 2 innings for the 8th and 9th?

He’s thrown 1 inning since 7/20 so it’s possible

Of course, and rushing him back when he’s not healthy isn’t going to help anything

If we could be so lucky?

With the way things are going, I'm pretty sure if the White Sox throw a 2 strike pitch right down the middle, it is not going to be taken for strike 3.

Gigantic bust…when they scouted him in college, did they just simply ignore the lack of athleticism?
