Would love to know just how bad it has to get for him to lose his job. If they threaten the loss record again, you have to make a change. He’s shown no ability to scout professional talent.

There is no way with labor unrest on the horizon that JR is going to do anything drastic at this point. Meanwhile the Titanic will keep sailing towards the iceberg.

I think it would tie the American League record. The Washington Senators if I remember right in the early 60's?

Sox seem to collect those kind of records

These clowns can't even rearrange deck chairs properly.

But the bunting around the deck looks immaculate.

His B- I gave him last year is meaningless without another passing grade this year. And so far he's at an F. He needs to constanza his bullpen additions, if he thinks a guy sucks, sign him, and vice versa.

Now starting (again) at DH, Danny Tartabull.

The person that needs to be fired is the deplorable owner. That being said, when Ishbia takes over we will more than likely see a complete makeover of the front office and probably the onfield personnel including the manager and coaches. There is nobody in this disaster of an organization that should keep their job.

The Senators had an excuse, they were an expansion team but still weren’t as bad as the 2024 Sox. The original Senators moved to Minnesota in 1961 and became the Twins. The expansion Senators moved to Texas in 1971 and became the Rangers.

Same with the 1962 Mets and their loss record.

In hindsight this team would look a lot better now with Luis Robert than Acuna. So that trade, in itself, is a fire-able offense not only because it hasn't worked out, but because Getz did not conduct some basic due diligence (switch-hitter?) about the player that was coming back. Dude can't field any position on the field adequately.

I wouldn't call it a trade but a salary dump

The fact that Robert currently has 10 walks (none intentional) and only 9 strikeouts in 46 plate appearances is crazy.

First team to 10 losses in baseball.

On pace for a 54-108 record.

Congrats, Getzy!!!

Awful run differential. All you need to look at to see how successful they will be this season. We’re nearing 10% of the season. A good sample size will be when we get to 25% and see how they are doing.

How about trying this?

Worked for Andy Pages so far...

He trained throughout the offseason using the latest pitching machine 'Trakjet Machine,' (company based in Ontario) which is now quite popular in Major League Baseball (Nats were last to add, but now have three), and it was revealed that he only set it to Paul Skenes, last year's National League Cy Young Award winner (Pittsburgh Pirates), and saw positive effects from practicing against it.

But it’s technically only 2 1/2 actual years straddling about 2 months combined of 2023/26.
