Also known as equipoise.  Still a popular steroid for human use.  Will shrink your balls faster than a Sox half inning of offense.

Maybe I should try that.

    An accurate graphic

  • Why don’t you tell us why there was no alternative?  Or why you believe so strongly in everything he has done in house, that is not visible or even quantifiable?  Or why we should accept him as “bette

  • I'll do my guy a favor and save @WestEddy some time for writing his own reply, and do it for him, because I'm a mensch.  "I'M NOT STICKING UP FOR THEM? WHERE DID I SAY I WAS STICKING UP FOR THEM?

Let’s do better than Vaughn for a future lineup.

Literally every IF on that list a major question mark.

Including the suddenly forgotten Ramos...

Yikes…just saw Jesse Chavez’s numbers.

Dumbest cut ever, just based on his bad ST numbers.  Dude is always good, no matter how old he is.  Funny how some of the guys that Getz cut are doing well on their new teams.

Too bad our bullpen is awesome and full.

As expected.  First major league start against the Dodgers.

I’m sure Getz would undo that trade in a second if he could, but I would bet that the Diamondbacks don’t want back a soon-to-be 27-year old RF’er with a .628 OPS in AAA.

??

Trying to settle in after some first inning “give up homers” jitters.

Didn't know where to post this in PHT, made a thread in FS

Bump

Firing on all cylinders

Terrible offseason…

Schizophrenic roster decisions…

Questionable draft (but to be determined)…

And I am confident he is going to absolutely fvck up this trade deadline…

Fire everybody.

It’s wild to me that these guys all thought this team would be better than last year by just making some defensive changes and here we are 50+ games under .500 and we’re still in July. Yikes.

Five real reasons for bumping this thread:

  • Team is historically bad and well beyond Getz’s expectations
  • Despite the awful results, the entire coaching staff still intact
  • Right now, the Mena & Santos trades look highly questionable
  • Have made no gains in terms of positional player development
  • Incredible seller’s market and we may come out empty handed

Getz echoed JR when he was hired saying the weak ALC was something that was going yo make his job a bit easier. Here we are, almost a year later,  and except for the Marlins Chris team is farther out of 4th place in the ALC than any other team is out of first place. Can’t waste a year.

Apparently he didn’t realize the ALC is weak mainly because of his own team.  ?

Hands down, the worse GM in baseball.   This garbage baseball is all on him now.

This came from Bob’s latest column, but if true, Getz should be relieved of his duties immediately:

Quote

The White Sox are telling contenders in the AL Central, including the Minnesota Twins, that they really would prefer not to trade within the division. The Twins and Guardians would love to get their hands on starter Erick Fedde.
