October 13, 20232 yr So want an Arizona @ Houston World Series, with Dusty and Pito winning it all. Not sure which would be the lower rated WS, Houston or Texas. Definitely want Philadelphia out ASAP.

October 14, 20232 yr Phillies is my early World Series favorite at this point. I think they can beat Astros or Rangers. As much as I like the DBacks I'd be surprised if they beat Philly.
October 16, 20232 yr Has Carter used up his rookie eligibility? It's still 130 at-bats, right? Man, that kid is having quite the post-season. Seager Lite.
October 16, 20232 yr I remember when many of us (myself included) regarded the Rangers with detached bemusement, sucking up all those high-priced free agents to stick on a hundred-loss team. I remember convincing myself that, sure, it would have been *nice* to have Semien, or Seager, but we didn't really *need* them, and they were just going into a black hole in Arlington. Good thing for the Rangers -- now they can ride them right into the WS while we enjoy our championship window at home.

Lots of players in these playoffs who were considered "gross" and not nearly good enough to play for the White Sox.
October 16, 20232 yr Brantley is such a professional hitter. Not a fit on this team unless you pushed Eloy to OF.
October 16, 20232 yr This Rangers bullpen is gonna be that team's undoing. I really don't get pitching around Abreu that much. He didn't get a single fastball.
October 16, 20232 yr Astros are bad at home this year, but being down 2-0 is something the Astros aren't used to.
