  • This team needs Ozzie Guillen the rest of the season. It’s not about wins and losses. It’s about motivating some guys that need the right buttons pushed.

  • Stoney said Grossman hit the ball hard.  It was 83 mph off the bat.  Everyone with this organization is so ignorant now.

I don't disagree on the overall losing culture of Chicago teams, but those 50s/60s Sox teams were actually really good. They just had the misfortune (like everyone else in the league) of playing at th

Hanging slider and he grounds out weakly to second base, as if that was what he was trying to do.   Demote him!

the twins remembered that they would probably be the 3rd or 4th worst team in the league if they weren't playing us

oh thanks vaughn great AB

Vaughn first pitch swinging with a weak groundout.  What a loser.

Hit ?  Error on Santana.

Vaughn continues to crater.

Stop calling him “The Legend”

3-22

What a time to be alive

Still not enough of a sample size, I was told.

3-22, 0-7 trip, NFL draft taking headlines....its a perfect time to whack Pedro. That means it isn't happening.

White Sox on verge of being 15 games back well before May 1st.

Chuck called him out once. Surprised they didn’t put an end to that. Oh wait, it’s the Sox. All about the milkshakes.

Something has to change with how our how our hitters prep.  How does Eloy not know by now that sweeper/slider away is all he will see?  All of our hitters swing at garbage off the plate and takes strikes down the middle.  Contrast that to opposing hitters who seem able to lay off anything that is not in the zone.  Are our pitchers that bad, or are opposing hitters just better prepared?

Eloy is who he has always been.  An injury-prone mistake pitch hitter who wears his glove on his head when he has to play the field.

Nearly 20 games under .500 and it's not even May. Never thought I'd see that.

If Grifol isn't launched tomorrow I'm done for the time being. It will continue to be the same thing over and over again. Give me something new to watch or try something different. This is too hard to watch day in day out.

It’s because Jerry isn’t willing to spend on an analytics department.  He’s got a hitting coach down there trying to chart pitches, probably on a fucking spiral notebook.  It’s been a few years since I looked but last I saw listed the White Sox analytics department was a grand total of two employees while the top teams were around 7-9 personnel.  There’s a reason both Sox’ hitters & pitchers can’t adjust to anything.  They are simply being out-scouted and out-analyzed on top of already being a roster full of below average MLB players.  That is absolutely a recipe for a historically bad season.

It's too late.  Our chances at the playoffs are done.

How is Vaughn not trying to hit a grand slam in that last at bat?

At the time even the Athletics had a three person analytics staff.

Not from a "major market" team.

I said the same fucking thing yesterday. FOR TWO YEARS ELOY HAS SEEN GARBAGE AWAY TO START ABs!

He's almost always down in the count because of it. Like do we have a single fucking coach that can work with him on IDing how pitchers attack his weaknesses? Come the f*** on this is MLB you're all being very well compensated to be at the pinnacle of the profession DO YOUR JOB.
