I wish he’d go on a long road trip and never return.

He sent Barfield instead of himself.

And Pedro goes to 100 below .500 in less than two years.

Willing to predict that will never happen again in MLB.  Grifol would have been fired by every other organization in sports.

It doesn't get talked about enough, honestly. They are 27-85, which is incredible to even type...and NO ONE has been fired. Not a hitting coach, not a pitching coach, and certainly not the manager. It's on pace for the worst season of all-time and NO ONE has been held accountable, or a message sent that this isn't acceptable.

It’s honestly amazing how much things have collapsed.  The team is playing horrible, your ace pitcher pissed everyone off, the minor league prospects for the most part have imploded and you had a terrible trade deadline.

What was up with that angry handoff?

What I miss? You mean handoff between game and postgame?

Steven Wilson and Grifol

Grifol went to get the ball from Wilson and he practically shoved it hard into him.

Me looking at the box score and seeing the new guy trying to wash off the stink

To be fair, he should have been done with that inning if Benintendi wasn’t worthless.

He gave up on the ball when he saw Robert coming. Not that bad a decision actually.

They weren’t gonna score, so it doesn’t matter, but what the heck is wrong with Wilson?  He’s been a gas can for like 2 months. They sent him to Charlotte, where he got lit up and then he returned no better. Meanwhile, Coffey has been lights out. Cousin could get a chance. AHT has been solid. They have room on the 40 man now and it’s gonna be a ghost town after this season. Why not try someone else?

Also, Berroa? Seriously? Every single reliever in their system has been better than him this year. At least try to win the occasional game.

We don’t know what’s happened behind closed doors. True that there’s been no public hanging.

I'm sure everybody is really getting held accountable behind closed doors.

Just think. Luis, Yoan, and Eloy were supposed to lead this franchise to championships.

I’m not even sure what this means? What could have taken place behind closed doors that held anyone accountable?

Because to JR, it is acceptable. He's been sitting in the owner's box for almost the last 20 years since the World Series, and his biggest move was to hire Tony LaRussa. And now we have Chris Getz. You would think he would be tired of having his name associated with so much losing, but I guess not. Don't forget that new stadium.

I’m rooting for history, both the modern andbl the deadball era records.

I agree, but see it slightly differently. I don’t think he enjoys this, but I also don’t think he cares. So in that way, it becomes acceptable.

I just see a total lack of interest from the entire organization. Why do even anything remotely more than you have to, other than putting a roster of 26 baseball players together, a coaching staff, and calling it a day. There is no interest in doing anything more than the bare minimum, and it’s sad.
