Caleb can still be a stud but damn, Daniels is so darn good and could easily turn out to be the best of his draft class.

Welp, Redskins killed themselves with too many turnovers or else this game would be a nail biter

Let's see what year 2 looks like. Stroud took a big step back.

He also lost two of his three best pass receivers to injury.

It's not like they didn't acquit themselves fairly well in the playoffs.

Strouds offensive line was also awful.

Woof. Not the start I wanted to see.

Turnover keeping the Bills in this one.

Buffalo hardly stopping KC on defense...injuries not helping, either.

Man how are we in this super team loop.

Another key call going the Chiefs' way...different call at Orchard Park?

Dennis Allen hired as DC. Declan Doyle as OC.

The amount of open throws Daniels gets is crazy. You see him throwing to wide open short routes a lot, especially on 3rd and 4th downs. Those just didn't seem there for the Bears the majority of the time. Everything was like pulling teeth. Hopefully they can scheme more guys open under Johnson. Daniels gets a lot of credit for how good he's been, but Kliff should get credit as well for making it much easier on his rookie QB.

Was relieved when Biggs affirmed Allen was likely. That’s a huge help that Johnson can trust someone to “head coach” the defense.

I was excited by Shaw but thankfully OC just less impactful than normal. Clearly Johnson wanted a guy who was hungry.

(as I watch this, damn Milano is awesome)

Sounds like this is a very New Orleans coaching staff, with Roushar likely

Kliff was a huge part of this, but the thing is with Daniels he always gets yards. Very rarely do they get negative plays, and then he is so insanely composed and fast as he’ll, they have 4 downs every drive to make a first. They just never punt.

The story with Caleb and the bears offense this year was just so so so many penalties and sacks and 3 yard loss runs. Always behind the chains. When they weren’t, it worked well.

Another close call goes to the Chiefs...wow.

Shocker

Pretty happy with the staff, the OC hire seems weak but that role was never calling plays, hopefully this “kid” is a really smart mind. Still pissed about Fraley, but I’ll get over it someday :)

Five out of the last six Super Bowls now.

Only Burrow and Chase broke the streak.

I'm so sick of this s%*#. I hate them so much.

If the Eagles had half a brain, Fangio would make sure to put in a scrub for a couple plays whose sole job is to dive at Mahomes knees and as insurance in case that doesn't work, Philadelphia should hire a PI who hopefully catches Goodell doing things he shouldn't to blackmail him into ordering the officials to ensure the Eagles win.

Take off the gloves.

Get it done. I dont care what it takes.

I guess this is how Nancy Kerrigan got kneecapped, albeit with even less sophistication.

Mahomes is almost to Michael Jordan status...so his teams are going to get those 50/50 calls at home until someone flat out beats them 2-3 times in a row and they have to rebuild.

The problem is so many guys like a Hollywood Brown or Hopkins or Hunt want to play with Mahomes...the bottoming out just gets pushed back further and further since dynasties/villains seem to be better for the NFL than a new winner every year.

He's already got more postseason victories than Montana career-wise at 29 years old.

My favorite play of the game was the Allen getting a 1st down on 4th and less than a yard that somehow wasn't a 1st even though the one ref marked it, then replay showed him getting past the line.  Such utter garbage.

Yeah...that and the Xavier Worthy "tie to the receiver" where it looked like the ball was trapped against the ground initially and the DB had more control was the other.

I was wondering how much delegation he was going to give to the OC. I think this signals it will be not much. Which I like. I wonder what, if any, thought they gave to down the road responsibility. Hiring someone who could take over more in the coming years.

I am surprised how upset people are about the OC, but part of me thinks this is what happens when the bears twitter accounts do the 'CHECK OUT THIS STAFF' stuff with rumors.

OL coach I'm still hoping has some huge swing like Munchak but we'll see.

The obvious problem was - THAT PLAY CALL WAS STUPID THEY HAD ALREADY STOPPED YOU ON A SIMILAR PLAY EARLIER IN THE GAME. DON'T LEAVE IT UP TO THE REFS TO DETERMINE, YOU LEFT THEM A 50-50 CALL WHERE THE REPLAY WAS INDETERMINATE. HAND THE BALL OFF TO A RUNNING BACK OR ROLL JOSH OUT. COME ON.

Nance was literally told in the game prep by the Chiefs that they knew Allen liked to go off tackle when given the short yardage spot, they demonstrated they could stop it on the goal line earlier in the game. You could see that they knew how to stack the spots he was going to. Do something different!!!!
