“Hahahahahaaa, you plan on chipping in for him, @Balta1701?!?”

That would be how it worked if I bought a tv or radio package, yes. They would be providing me an improved product and giving me a reason to spend money on them.

Hopefully Tucker will be willing to accept a contract with $250+ million in non-guaranteed incentives.

I can at least pretend the white Sox would be a professional franchise when an obviously fitting player comes along, just indulge me.

As expected...

"Pete Alonso re-signs with Mets on two-year, $54 million contract to run it back in Queens...$10 million?signing bonus."   nypost.com

White Sox could have had him for $20 million with no Vaughn...minus not fitting the timeline at all lol.

Tucker is gonna get $400 million plus.

Assuming Robert is gone one way or another, the only thing on the White Sox’s 2026 payroll is Benintendi. Even the only arb eligible guys look likely gone.

Man, this takes me back to the 2018-2019 offseason.

At that point Hahn’s suckups told us he was going to get this done.

Getz suckups are now going “a payroll above $60 million? That’s unpossible.”

I would have no interest in this contract.

Hes not there long enough to be on their next actual decent team, he’s not likely to bring a big trade return.

I don’t want to waste money stupidly, that’s Hahn classic. Save the money there, use it when a good fitting player comes up.

I was joking...from a marketing perspective, they wouldn't be able to make it work anyway.

Also would have cost a draft pick they signed him.

Pham must have a great agent…

Per The Athletic’s Katie Woo, the Pirates have signed OF Tommy Pham to a one-year, $4 million contract.  The contract is a major-league deal, with an additional $250,000 in incentives.

NL Central is going to be a dogfight this year...not because of Pham, but all five teams could make cases.

Pirates just passed $90 million in 2025 payroll.

Ballpark Pass is back. They must really be at the bottom. $125 for all home games in March, April and May.

$125/28 games=$4.46 per ticket...minor league prices.

It's the parking that will get you haha.

And why would anyone want a Charles Comiskey Bobblehead? To deflect attention from JR...?

They should. I feel like I suggested this somewhere (probably in thread about non-rendering Vaughn but don’t really care enough to go back and look)

Smartest thing I’ve heard from the Sox in awhile, except for the fact that this should have been done last year.  Colas could have been learning to play 1B all of last season considering it was obvious Getz didn’t want to call him up for the outfield.
