Bad organizations, bad coaching/teaching/developing, bad training and conditioning staffs, bas scouting, bad analytics...this is what you get.

I tend to think successful MLB players silently blacklist this organization.  Who knows that maybe some office people do the same.  But there is probably more job security in those positions because results don't matter.  See Chris Getz

Right. Many here think I’m only negative with Robert but if you put yourself in another team’s shoes what’s there to like with this profile? If you can somehow revert him back to his 2023 form sure it’s worth the risk but how many contenders are looking for an oft-injured, underperforming reclamation project that’s being compensated handsomely over the next 2.5 seasons (if they even pick up the options)? I’m sure they’d take him but they aren’t giving up much in return imo.

That sounds like the White Sox except for the contender part which I don't think will happen my lifetime and definitely not Jerry's.

It’s May 21st and Robert is sporting a 65 wRC+ and -0.1 fWAR. Half way to the trade deadline and he’s going to need a ~135 wRC+ over the next two months just to return to a league average hitter. When do we start to worry @Chicago White Sox ?

It will at least be a bucket of shiny new balls.

Maybe, Robert prefers playing in the non-pressure environment of losing White Sox baseball.

Except he played better when the team was better, and now is worse when the team is at its worst.

They are either going to dump him for an awful return or he's going to get his option declined.

Never in a million years would I have guessed this was going to be Luis Roberts fate.

We let this man create his own offseason program that was featured on his instagram with lots and lots of eyewash and eating from what we could tell.  The rudderless ship allowed him to regress and a very promising prospect is now broken and another team will fix him.

I see most are still delusional about Robert?
There’s a better chance he gets released at the end of the year than traded for any meaningful prospects. How long of a stretch do you need to see of a guy not being good at hitting a baseball before reality sets in?

Are we also waiting on the turn around for TA, Eloy, and Yoan? Or is Robert special for some weird reason?

You can add Vaughn to that list now as well

We have heard report after report that the Sox have less interaction with their players than pretty much any other franchise in baseball.  Players seem to be in shock with how little information they get and how little guidance they get.
