Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.

I keep coming back to it. Carson Benge makes soooo much sense for the White Sox unless he's completely untouchable. Slot him into whatever OF position you want and he's an easy part of the next core. I'd be doing whatever I can to see what it takes to pry him loose in a Robert trade. Add pieces if you need to. Throw in Taylor and expand the deal if required.

The fact that he hasn't been mentioned in trade rumors for Robert is crazy to me unless he's completely off the table. He fits the mold of the current regime too. Patience at the plate, can play up the middle in CF currently, left handed, and supposedly has off the charts makeup/work ethic.

There should be some back end guys.

I think problem is the orioles have better back end guys and happier to trade. Sox just don’t have the top stuff

THat was always the danger here.  The Sox have guys, but like 3rd tier guys for the most part.

I'm thinking Mets just see him as way too good for a Robert rental.

6 hours and 15 minutes to go.  It is crazy that the Sox have made all of 1 move.

Robert Houser Lee Tauchman Wilson Booser and Altavilla should all be traded for whatever packages they can get.

That still leaves Taylor for CF until next year.

Their farm is going to be an empty field after today.

MLB Network said Padres locked up the gates to their minor league facilities after the Miller trade lol

Houser, Lee, Wilson, Booser, Altavilla, Michael A Taylor, Rojas - All can go

Tauchman, Martin, Cannon, Burke, Robert if you aren't getting a decent return - hold onto them

Sosa - I'm cool either way

I would be really surprised if the Mets were willing to consider moving a rising young prospect like Benge

Doubt it

Usually 3x the trade volume on the final day vs. the second to last.  Robert & Houser will be moved.  I’d expect at least one player to be moved (Tauchman or an arm).  Doesn’t feel out of the ordinary.  Surprisingly a lot of the bigger moves have happened early.
