Four short years since the Patriots' Day debacle started by Giolito...who would have thought that just four years later that Lucas and Garrett Crochet would have been traded for players like Quero and Meidroth that would lead the White Sox to a 3-3 season series tie entering Monday.

That Cam Booser and Massachusetts natives Burke Vasil and Shane Smith would all play key roles as well?

Baseball is strange.  Nevertheless, we're now still just one game ahead of Colorado for worst record in the majors.

At least there's currently about as much consternation in Boston as in Baltimore...

I find it impossible to resist a proud mom cheering on her son making his MLB debut. Catcher Edgar Quero, the No. 6 White Sox prospect, played his first game this week, and his mom was there, interviewed by the White Sox sideline reporter. (This is forever a favorite part of MLB telecasts.) He reached base in his first at-bat and is a clear part of the White Sox future. She’s going to get to watch a whole bunch of his games.

Every Sox hitter at 678 ops or below except for newly-recalled Quero who's suddenly hitting in the cleanup spot.

Vaughn sitting for Maton I just don't get...and Vargas playing every single game.

Liam Hendriks, a great ambassador for baseball and specifically, for people overcoming serious illness,  unfortunately looked out of sorts, for lack of a better description.  I hope the best for him moving forward no matter what if any baseball he has left in him.

The guy is barely a bench player and likely in AAA for any other team.  Pretty awful.

I'd be more interested in seeing the Bobby Dalbec revenge game on Patriot's Day in Fenway than watch any more Maton haha

I feel like the Red Sox always win and score a lot of runs on this day. Bet the house on the Runline or alternate runline.

Incredibly great that the Sox won yesterday, making sure the Red Sox didn't wear their city connects on the day they for sure should.
