Hooray Hooray for the 8th of May, the 69th Day  of March.

I used to go an annual party that was held this day . So party hardy cheering for the Sox to win but not too much.

The Sox are in a great position to get the number 1 draft pick. The priority is to not screw it up. The Rockies are not eligible for it since they had a top 5 pick last year.

The last rebuild didn't get high enough picks. They won too much.

This game with the screaming kids is a very tough watch. 

Martin’s approach of throwing it right down the middle to their best sluggers is interesting

4 game sweep in progress. Can't hit their way out of a paper bag and the relief pitching has been a joke.Then there is a Manager who just lacks the feel for Managing.

Need to make 4 or 5 roster moves before tomorrow's game. Bring up Julks/Elko for sure.

I doubt Julks coming up. Tauchman and Slater are going to Charlotte to rehab. So is Korey Lee  Elko I can see.

The commitment to Palacios has been one of the biggest headscratchers to me. I assume he'll be gone when Tauchman returns but I'm still surprised we haven't tried running somebody else out there. I'm not surprised they have left Julks down there though as his Statcast metrics look bad.

About to be 3-16 on the road.  What a terrible team.

Kauffman Stadium is the new Oakland Coliseum. Can't win there.

I know we stink but these lineups seem worse than usual lately. I know Beni is out.
