2025-26 NFL Season Thread

The only people that can change the narrative surrounding this organization are on the field and coaching staff.  There are still glaring needs on the team (DL and LT), but the thing everyone agreed needed to be done was get Caleb a real bonafide play caller coach, and they did that.  I see this team landing anywhere from 7-10 to 10-7, with the latter because everything just came together.   Looking forward to seeing an offense that schemes around defensive flaws

  • Honestly, rest of the playoffs are gravy. I will be disappointed when/if they lose, but they LOST 10 IN A ROW LAST SEASON. I'm all about making the most of your window, but they just won a playoff gam

  • Caleb sucks am I right?

  • Oh no. The football team I love might lose a playoff game gtfoh.

This is well said. Regarding Caleb - I said it  a couple months back - there are plenty of red flags on him just as there were on the coaching staff. He has to learn from what he did wrong and I legitimately think he bought into his hype too much and did not take it as serious as he should of and also had a bit of an entitled attitude and perspective and that played out and there were enough rumblings of that.

He got his kicked last year - in many ways. Now I hated that he spent any time wasting it on the quotes that drove the Flus hit piece earlier in the offseason cause it still shows a total lack of maturity.

With that said - I think the whole culture has changed and hopefully he had the rude awakening needed and is now all systems go with a staff that is going to really push and some added vet presence in the qb room to help. We won’t know in first 4 weeks - but as season goes on, the expectation has to be we are seeing some above average and at times high end play from that position.

One thing aside from this coming from the coaching staff is I think bears have two qb dads that are a problem. I wouldn’t be shocked if the guy giving Dunne the stuff to run down was none other than Tyson bagents dad.

As much as I dislike flus, I actually think he’s been around long enough and is secure enough as a defensive coach he wouldn’t be so dumb. But Waldron probably was furious after wickersham part.

Hmmmm... looks like the Lions offense really misses Ben Johnson calling plays for them.

Their offensive game plan was pretty simple.

The Packers pash rush is going to be a problem all year for other teams...but it was evident early the Lions didn't seem to have any interest in airing anything out, it was all screens and dump offs basically the entire first half. There was NO pop to that offense.

As a Bills fan…that is the most insane thing I have ever seen and I have no clue at all what just happened and I have no where else to post this: I haven’t stopped laughing in 10 minutes. What the Hell did I just watch.

It’s even a fucking scorigami!!!

Just an incredible game.

To me what is even more incredible is that fact that Baltimore, with all that talent consistently over and over again loses double digit leads in the second half and/or fourth quarter and loses games.

Just amazing.

Two great QBs goin at it. Josh Allen wants an MVP this year.

I read that since Lamar has become QB, they have lost 9 games in which they had 90% probability to win in the 4th quarter.

thats not to say it’s his fault or anything, but it’s a crazy stat

Can you explain this reference?

Scorigami is a unique final score.  This game final score has never happened in the NFL before, so it is considered a Scorigami.  There is a site and social media account that tracks them, and gives possibility predictions during games

Week 1s are often fools gold or fools...coal, but sure feels like if you could choose one team that could not afford to look atrocious it was the dolphins.

Tua looks broken in a way that derek carr suddenly looked broken. And that team is built around a QB that can get out the ball as fast as Tua used to - their offensive line sucks.

Jets looked much better than I thought and steelers didn't look scary. So just another ho hum 10 win steelers team that somehow still wins so many games they look ass in.

It definitely feels like the shine is off McDaniel and his offense.  Tyreek looks like he is gonna flip out one of these games

They were doing there best Pete Crow Armstrong impression. Dancing and dodging it like clowns. Suck it Ravens

The Ben Johnson era starts tonight! Can't let a rookie QB making his debut come into you house and get a win. Time to Bear Down!

Some huge losses tonight.

Especially in the secondary, Justin Jefferson may be licking his chops.

Clean up the penalties.

Bears D minus 3 starters playing fantastic

I dont understand watching JJ McCarthy at Michigan and being like, yeah, that's the guy I want to trade up for to give the keys to the franchise.

Worst challenge of all time.
