WestEddy
That would all have to mean that Jordan Leasure goes down when they process Civale onto the roster. But congratulations to everyone on Vaughn and Palacios both being gone on the same day. Condolences to those who need them. southsider2k5
Palacios started the last two days, including hitting clean up two days ago. WTF is it with this organization? I am glad they finally sent him out for one of the kids who should be playing as much as possible in Baldwin. 2 2 1
PaleAleSox
I assume Leasure goes once they activate Civale. And welcome back, Brooks. The team is more interesting with you on it.
Timmy U
I think when they activate Civale, Shuster goes down. Hard to carry 4 lefties in the bullpen.

Gilbert, Booser, Eisert and Alexander are the 4 lefties. Maybe they try to sneak Alexander through waivers.

I truly think Colson is up within the next two weeks if he continues what he has been doing since being back.

I don't think it's that soon necessarily, but I think there's a reason Meidroth is getting more 2B reps lately despite grading out well at short.
chitownsportsfan
Is this our best lineup? SS Chase, RF Tauchmann, 3B Vargas, LF Beni, 2B Sosa, DH Teel, CF Robert, 1B Elko, C Quero
southsider2k5
Ignore the names in the post, but pay attention to the number of PAs by each position in the batting order. Why, in an era of analytics and such, do we insist on putting our worst hitters in prime positions to get as many ABs as possible? We were literally maximizing some of the most value PAs for a guy we were literally on the verge of cutting. The difference between the 1 and 9 slots is almost an PA per GAME. The difference between the 4 and 9 slots is an extra PA every 2 games.

Didn't this happen with Maton too? At least Brandon Drury was spared by opting out of his Sox minor league deal. Also is Getz getting paid by the transaction by JR? Not even a mutual fund manager at quarter churns his roster THIS much. Edited June 13 by caulfield12
