I originally thought a 2-4 homestand against the Cubs and Phils would be realistic.

We're playing good baseball, or at least as good as we can as a 35% winning team. Let's just not get swept.

Today is not a game that we have a real good chance at winning. However, I like pitching matchups OR how it stacks up for us on Saturday and Sunday

He's good but doesn't have a lot of stamina coming off his hamstring issues last month. Hopefully we can get his pitch count up and get him out by the 5th.

Just saw an article listing the top 30 impact trade candidates. Houser was not mentioned. Robert was like #26.

Huge start for Houser. If he pitches well, the return for him might at least be interesting. A bad start, and it’s probably a lottery ticket at best.

He seemed healthy as of Thursday.  Feels like we got a trade cookin’.

 

Like I said, not being in the lineup 4 hours before game time, a trade would basically have to be at the finish line.

I think his tight groin is all about keeping Luis away from a tough pitcher and his not looking bad. I'm just guessing, but I would think it's like Shane Smith leg injury, just an excuse to give him time off without calling it time off.

Personally, I don’t think he can really help or hurt his value over the next few days. A couple good or bad games isn’t going to do anything at this point. Get him on the field.
