Yesterday was fantasy but today was reality that the pen is one of the worst in baseball. Pens are the most inconsistent part of a team. Bad will always be bad and good will have its moments. Lineup is longer with Miggy at 1B and Sosa and 2B instead of Rojas. Baldwin/Colson/Sosa/Vargas infield should actually be pretty productive if Brooks keeps hitting. How does it compare to the rest of MLB? What is the winning percentage when leading after seven for the entire MLB. Falstaff Posted August 4 Share Posted August 4 I was disappointed on some of the at bats when the Sox had Kochanowicz on the ropes. He was all over the place and a couple of first pitch swings got him out of jams. The Angels SS is one slick fielder, nice double play combo with the 2nd baseman. A few minutes later, I was thinking it's good that tough losses don't hurt when the team is bad. Then I started to realize these losses will start being painful next year.
