He’s not the only one, it’s all about ball speed off the bat, launch angle and barreling. When that’s all what your taught it’s hard to get away from that mindset.

seems like even Maton the first few weeks was swinging at high fastballs evven if they were low sinkers

The nice hit by Frazier down the wide open 3rd base line led to this. You need to guard the lines late in a tight game. I hope our hitters were paying attention. Sox had a few chances for a bigger lead but crapped their pants. BTW I’m really starting to dislike Venable.

This is a clinic in losing baseball. 9 guys left o in 7 innings. A guy thrown out at the plate on a ball Tiny Tim would have scored on and their bullpen gives up the two run jack. It’s the last three years wrapped up in one game.
