White Sox @ Twins; Martin vs Woods-Richardson 6:40 pm CST

Recommended Posts

I didn't realize Ramos was only 23. Maybe this time around he will "click" with the energetic young core vs. last year playing with corpses and the previous rebuild failures.

We could see some really young lineups next year:

LF Baldwin 24
CF Robert 27
RF B. Montgomery 22
3B Ramos 23
SS C. Montgomery 23
2B Meidroth 23 (Sosa 25)
1B Vargas 25
C  Teel  23
DH Quero 22
(these are their current ages i'm too lazy to check when their birthdays lineup for next year)

If Robert and/or Benintendi are jettisoned the average age would be like 24.xx

That Buxton ball should've been caught. Just an awful read and route.

He's just so useless out there. Even if he missed it, no reason Buxton should take third base. At least he hit a home run.

Oh and another one. Two runs on his bad defense. The corner outfield defense is really bad. Not good enough hitters to justify it.

Really think he needs to be DH only next year

Sosa’s been pretty rough last few weeks

once he got to two strikes, I'm thinking if Woods just throws it 100 feet off the plate, Sosa will bite on it. what do ya know.

SWR looks really bad tonight though.

or traded for the next dumpster dives, future DFAs,  while paying over 3/4 of his salary.   Sox seems to always have a log jam at DH because of poor defense.

No one would trade for him

The enforcement of the balk on the infraction Davis had is really inconsistent - much like all umpiring, I guess. I’ve noticed guys are always double pumping their front foot, and I figured I didn’t remember what a balk was.

Stone said you can get away with it if you do it all the time. Davis did it on the next pitch after the balk.😔
