Santos, Houser and Robert trades are all fine imo. Fedde/Kopech wasn't great, Cease was bad.

  • The National Equirer is more accurate than that guy.

You are a White Sox fan, so it is probably more like a -1 WAR 37 year old 2B who will play 1B poorly.

ok, so say we signed Zach Littell. What would be an expected years/price on that?

MLB Trade Rumors predicted a 2-year, $24 million dollar deal for him.  But at this rate, he may have to sign for 1/$10 million.

He should. He had a good year in his rookie season.

Is it crazy to be the team that takes on Framber Valdez. Shift our season into a higher gear. Can certainly afford it

We haven't exactly had much luck lately taking on skilled pitchers that no one else wants.

I don’t really want to punt the draft pick.

Eh, I totally forgot he was a compensation signing.  That moves me from Eh to Hell No.

Compensation pick aside, I don't want anything to do with that douchebag in a Sox uniform or in the clubhouse.

There is literally nowhere for him to play without losing a more intriguing young player.

For the outfield there's maybe 2 of those. Maybe.

And he will get at least 1 HBP.

I wish they'd just turn him into the next Mason Miller. They've already alluded to the fact his mechanics could lead to an injury in a starter capacity, and now they appear to be setting him up... to eventually move into a starter role in the future (2027)? Or are they just trying to create a market inefficiency where they have elite arms pitch multiple innings?

No way that 102 is a reference to his current mph...right?

Where you seeing the 102 reference? He has touched 102 before. I was surprised people were suggesting a DFA of him earlier. Hes got an elite of elite arm and I think some have forgotten that. I think hes a backend potential closer before long.

Edit: oh I see what you are referencing. Yes, I think hes saying hes touching 102 again.

I know he's capable, but it's less than a year out from his TJ (and even if he wasn't rehabbing, it's only early February).

But I agree about his arm talent. Looking forward to a productive return for him.

Sox should claim Banda, LH reliever from Dodgers.  Got cut today.  Need another left and he has been good with the Dodgers.

Mune arrives tomorrow apparently. Not sure how long until he leaves for WBC prep.

Totally agree, he's a lot better than some of the lefties on the 40-man.

If it means I don't have to watch Eisert pitch than giddy up.
