Even if he's still hanging on at age 96 or 97, the waiting-in-the-wings owner isn't going to let a star player walk just because he has Boras as an agent.

It's not really a concern that JR avoids Boras, he avoids the big money. And Boras is big money.

Good question, but I think the sides would have negotiated the bonus prior to draft day.
