December 10, 2025Dec 10 I wonder if there are big deferrals given how much he blew his projections out of the water.

December 10, 2025Dec 10 Pretty good deal for B-more imo. I'd expect him to put up like 12 WAR and sell some tickets over that contract.

December 10, 2025Dec 10 Never signing pitchers and then signing him is a weird move, but he should still mash for at least a year or two.

There's never a "good value" in a FA signing. Value isn't the reason you sign premium FAs. It's to win and signal that you're trying.

Might be overextended and need to pare back, yeah. No idea what they have in their system on the 1B/reliever front to provide similar value to those two though.

December 11, 2025Dec 11 Orioles desperately need to put a prospect package together for starting pitching. Cabrera/Marlins remains the most logical choice. Not sure they could afford to now take on Luis Castillo deal from SEA...if M's were even inclIned to part with him. Peralta/Brewers anGreene big name out there (already quite familiar after Burnes deal), Hunter Greene, etc. Older Orioles' fans probably having Chris Davis contract flashbacks.
