Chicago White Sox
I wonder if there are big deferrals given how much he blew his projections out of the water.

chitownsportsfan
Pretty good deal for B-more imo. I'd expect him to put up like 12 WAR and sell some tickets over that contract.

PaleAleSox
Never signing pitchers and then signing him is a weird move, but he should still mash for at least a year or two.

There's never a "good value" in a FA signing. Value isn't the reason you sign premium FAs. It's to win and signal that you're trying.

No idea what they have in their system on the 1B/reliever front to provide similar value to those two though.

caulfield12 Posted yesterday at 02:22 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:22 AM Orioles desperately need to put a prospect package together for starting pitching. Cabrera/Marlins remains the most logical choice. Not sure they could afford to now take on Luis Castillo deal from SEA...if M's were even inclIned to part with him. Peralta/Brewers anGreene big name out there (already quite familiar after Burnes deal), Hunter Greene, etc. Older Orioles' fans probably having Chris Davis contract flashbacks.
