"I'm not paying for this!  You said you were going to fix my car!  All you did was make it work like it did previously!"

  • If it were me, I’d walk down to Acuna and demand he bat switch hitter all season.

  • Chicago White Sox
    Chicago White Sox

Nope, kid is fucking cooked.  If you ain’t fixed before your first full minor league season as a prep pick then it’s officially game over man.

Some talk that Sox wanted to hold him in Arizona to start the year until they felt like his swing was in a good spot. So by that metric it's a nice development

I can't recall them ever holding an early HS pick out of kanny the following season.

Can't put it past the White Sox to pat themselves on the back for exceeding low expectations

Seems we already had this debate...

Not sure about starting Hagen in AAA...4-6 weeks of BIRM starts to continue stacking confidence would have been another approach.

Who did Murphy make it over?

Eisert or Gilbert?  Both?

Paez is going to be rostered now?

I haven’t been following all things Sox to have an opinion on fringe roster choices but I have enough sense to know they won’t be starting Colson in Charlotte.

@CaliSoxFanViaSWside what say you?

edit: hysterical. I was in traffic when I had replied previous and read “Carlson” as “Colson” and didn’t bother reading the destination… just assumed it was talking about AAA. 😆😆😆

Chalk this one up to me being a moron again fellas. 😆

Also don't mix up Kanny and Winston Salem, or you will be drawn and quartered.

I deserve to be tarred and feathered, sure… but being drawn and quartered is taking it a bit too far

Now all they need is to add a Colton to the roster...

Looks a lot like the potential OD lineup...except for Hill/Kelenic/Pereira permutations.

Colson at 3B. Acuna SS.

If they were a band, it would be Shane Smith and the Limited Ceilings. Let's hope that Hagen and Dutch get going again.

Starting pitching will probably be an issue again this season.

I wouldnt want to be making decicions on the OF. They all doing well. Baldwin mystery elbow injury. Havent seen enough of Pereira. Last couple days saw Peters rob a HR and Hill make an incredible catch in RF and have hit all spring. He looks like the best hitter on the team and the best fielding outfielder. Acuna has been on a tear too from the minute he arrived. Hill and Acuna bring loads of speed too.

Kelenic not overly impressive. He needed to hit like Acuna, Hill, Wade, Korey Lee or Oliver Dunn, another guy who just did everything he could to making a lasting impression

The Sox have 8 guys who have played between 10-15 games with an OPS of 1.000+ and another 5 with an OPS in the .900's.

I know its ST and you face a lot young pitchers but the offense has really stood out.

But, Kelenic is a lefty. Impressive

Roster for the spring prospect showcase game on Saturday. A lot of expected guys, but the pitching staff is interesting. A couple of the bigger names, a couple late round picks from last year, recent UDFA Jackson Nove, MiLB Rule 5 pick Jackson Kelly, and...27yo Tyler Davis?

The Sox will be simulcasting 10 games on the U channel 26 this year for those of you who don't get their station and the opportunity to hear the Schriff 162 times a year.

We could force terrorists to listen to this, though the Geneva conventions might be invoked.

Said it was 103 degrees on the field at the start of the Padres game tonight.

I know it’s been brought up before…but is there seriously no way Sosa can play OF? Just seems crazy that this franchise isn’t going to attempt to get his bat in the lineup.

I don’t have any delusions of Sosa being a make or break guy in this rebuild, but a 26 year old that is easily one of the top 9 bats we currently have to offer shouldn’t be on the bench of a team with no hope of actually competing
