How can this be the best product the Sox can put on the field ? Just terrible

This is the third year in a row the Sox have a batting avg under .200 after the first 19 games. It's happened 4 times in club history. Three in a row.

Because of a detestable owner who hired an inexperienced guy for GM who hired a rookie manager who doesn’t have clue.

Until JR is dirt surfing nothing will change, he promoted a failed minor league director as GM. All these new faces organization wise brought in under Getz have been underwhelming to say the least.

The only reason Chris Getz has a job is because he's likely the lowest paid GGM in baseball, and promised JR the lowest payroll in baseball.

The most positive thing I can say is................Nevermind there isn't anything positive.

Sox have lost more series via sweep 🧹 than not 😂

Also im tired of watching for prospect performance. Who the f*** cares anymore? Even the decent ones come up, are surrounded by garbage players, and receive inferior coaching as they wallow at the big league level.

It's not like our farm system is anywhere close to top shelf anyway.
And it would be nice if some of those prospects would turn into quality major leaguers.
Getz is burying himself with his own poor personnel decisions, letting other GMs lead him around by the nose, etc. but he's not getting a lot of internal help either.

I was thinking about this today, and this goes back to the Hahn era how often, seemingly constantly every player the Sox acquire, joins the club and falls flat on their face.

It's really uncanny.

Part of this, I think, is because of very poor talent evaluators at the major and minor league levels and part of it, I honestly think, is because these guys come to the franchise, see how incompetewnt and dysfunctional it is and it just plays with their heads and screws up their performance.

I mean losing is ingrained in this franchise and it has got to impact players, especially those who come from a solid winning organization.

You have to find those who would actually want to come here. It's going to take a long time for the stains to be removed from this organization.
