Peters in the sense that you never could have dreamed he would look like a 2-3 fWAR outfielder extrapolated out from 30+ games.

Still might not be. But he's holding his own?and doing a lot of little things to complement the big boppers.

Quero on the down side.

I'm not sure if the drive line stuff screwed up Quero's swing or if Quero's been on this downward spiral for a while. He was awful in the last month of 2025.

Your Chicago White Sox are 17-18, and winners of 6 in 7. Shutout wins in 2 of 3. Team ERA since April 3 is 3.29, the best mark in MLB. Since April 20, the offense is 5th in OBP and HRs, 6th in runs pe

  • Finishing the game late, but holy moly is Davis Martin a pleasure to watch. What a performance.

We had April 30th off, we have an off day on the 7th and 11th, not sure why he would need an off day.

He's played in every game, so they want him to get a non-travel day off. I imagine his limited play in NBP last season is also a factor.

May 5th and we’re in a playoff spot. Let’s keep the good times rolling here.

And maybe first place...

Sox owning the West coast is wild.

It is time for Martin to start getting some national love. He has been impressive

Best they’ll do is move the Sox up to 28th on all of their power rankings.

20th

MLB jumped them eight spots, finally

Great if they sweep the series and come home a game over .500 with a possibility of being in first place. What they have done in the last month is damn good, they were last in most of the hitting and pitching categories after 2 weeks into the season, they are now at least league average in most categories and better than that in homers as they are on a pace for 203 dingers, we have 4 starters in the lineup right now with an OPS of over .800. I feel good right now about the team but would feel a lot better with a Major League outfield, Antonacci is doing the job in left and a healthy Austin Hays would probably foot the bill in center, Braden Montgomery might wind up being the last piece to the puzzle if he has a good stint at Charlotte and hopefully he’s our everyday rightfielder by July 1st at the latest. Another key to the whole thing is getting Teel 100 healthy, with Romo as the backup catching should not be a problem the rest of the way. That means sending Quero down to Charlotte where he can figure things out, you can never have enough catching.

@Look at Ray Ray Run time for you to eat crow regarding Davis Martin.

I've been trying to tell everyone this guy is a monster!

LOL

White Sox are 11-6 since they called up Sam.

Hays should NEVER be in CF…

Winning the first game makes winning another series very possible, even likely, Yes, I just wrote......Winning.......ANOTHER..........series.

After what we have been through the last few seasons its very hard to truly believe, but even the most pessimistic among us must be feeling some lift over the last month. Years past gave some good pitching, and sometimes good hitting occasionally solid defense and seldom smart baserunning, but never could our Sox put all together at the same time. Recently they have been hitting on all cylinders.

Winning is fun and fun is winning. Don't stop now boys.

Winning is Fung

Heard yesterday from Brooke Fletcher that Teel is close to a rehab assignment. That would be great to have him back and send Quero back to minors for a reset.

This team is so much more professional than the last few years. They take mostly professional at bats. They don't chase nearly as much as they have in the past. They rarely let mistakes cascade. Really some fun baseball since the first couple series.

It's impressive to see how Robert and co. were real drags in the clubhouse. The energy of the team is just completely different. It's amazing how that thing imploded so fast.

All the statistics websites are haters. They still have the Sox predicted for 70 wins.
