Tyler Davis looks like a closer candidate to me. Throws hard and poised.

Fedde throws 90+ pitches in 3 innings and gives up only 4 runs. Kudos to him for fighting it out.

I think I've been the most vocal skeptic of Vargas as a fielding third baseman (backed by statistics), but apart from a woeful start, he's actually been good this year. That was an excellent pick. He skipped the throw, but I believe Murakami should have caught it.
