Website Issue

Featured Replies

Sorry for doing this, but haven’t been able to access Soxtalk in the US since the site upgrade. However, while in foreign countries and on Wi-Fi, I am able to access. If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

There is some talk about this in the pinned draft thread. We are missing quite a few posters. I hope it can get resolved.

I can access on xfinity home wifi but not on mobile or other services.

Just move to Europe.

I can access the site from my Xfinity cable home internet with zero issues but the site won’t load at all from my Xfinity Wireless phone data, which uses the Verizon cellular network. For me, it only seems to be an issue with Verizon.

What ISP / phone plan provider are you on?

I've been using my Norton VPN. Frustrating if I'm working on a Jewel order online, because they think I live in Ohio. But yeah, VPN is the only thing that works for me.

I have the exact same problem, I can only access when I'm on wifi.

I can access the site on my computer, but not on my phone while on Wi-Fi. Very odd.

Verizon for mobile, AT&T for internet. Neither works for me. But in Tokyo right now and able to access on hotel Wi-Fi and same happened during spring break in Mexico. Absolutely brutal that after enduring this s%*# show of a team for the last five years, they finally get good and I can’t talk about them with anyone.

Will try when I get back to the states.

Or China. Works fine with Astrill VPN here.

If you get it to work and they start playing bad then I’m sorry but you gotta go.

This worked for me on open air Verizon

I will happily oblige, but I remain confident in this team’s ability to compete.

And before people start telling me it's because I have Verizon again, I don't have Verizon.

This worked for me and I even skipped the "Delete Existing" step. I didn't want to f*** with something I know nothing about lol

My problem was that the site wasn’t working on my phone data. It works fine from my Xfinity cable home internet connection while on WiFi. And since you can’t really easily manually change the DNS servers that your cell phone data is using like you can when on WiFi, I just spent $3 bucks to buy this DNS Override app to force the cellular DNS to 1.1.1.1 on my iPhone. Soxtalk works like a champ now on my iPhone data which is on an Xfinity Wireless plan that ultimately uses the Verizon cellular network. The video below shows how to do it.

Who is your provider and what was the exact issue? The more information that is shared here may help others troubleshoot their own issue.

Because from what I was experiencing on Verizon cellular data on my iPhone, the site simply wouldn’t load AT ALL. It wasn’t just infrequent site load failures or errors, but it simply wouldn’t load the page ever since the site upgrade.

T-Mobile. I forgot the exact error message. I did try to turn my Wi-Fi off last night to see if that would help and it did. So it wasn't working on my phone when I used the Wi-Fi at home but has worked on my work laptop.

Since I did the steps posted above, it now works.

Yea. Changing my private DNS also allowed me to access on Mobile now. Give it a shot if you haven't.

I just got back from Tokyo and some other areas in Japan 👍 Enjoy the trip. Tokyo is an impressive place.
