Some games I know its a tough choice and I was fine with Venable punting this game down 3-0 but once they tied it my thoughts are ,to win the series, you take the most immediate chance. Or you just stick to punting and leaving Fedde in to die. Venable chose leavng him in to die. I'm not saying the Sox wouldve won this game .Schultz could pitch great tomorrow and the right relief guys wrap up the game and Sox win the series or it goes sideways like today and you have to use your best guys in a loss and they aren't available for the opening game of the next series.TBH I havent checked when Newcomb pitched last so having him go multiple innings may not have worked.

Monday is a day game against the Twins. I have a feeling that today or tomorrow the Sox call up a pitcher .

Highly doubt he's implying your partner doesnt want you. He would have to know you actually have a partner to do that.

Listened to the middle part of the game in the car, basically all of the runs.

DJ really thought there was no excuse for 2 popups to drop on Vargas in that inning.

Kellenic had a lousy defensive inning when those first 3 runs scored.

The only way this matters is if you think there's a pitcher out there who is way overpaid, their team wants out, and the Sox see a quick fix. The Angels just signed Taijuan Walker, and they both seem each other's speed, at this point.

The game today looked like who they have been the last 3 years. A nightmare, but I truly do feel as though they have turned a page and not just on a hot streak. Where they go the rest of the season? Time will tell. Just win the series tomorrow and come home and tighten up the ship. Defense and less strikeouts.
