Houser is pitching for the Giants. Hudson is opening for tbe Sox .Can't imagine him going longer than an inning or 2. Fedde will follow him. Houser got off to a rocky start but 2-0 in his last 2 sta

they're getting their s%*# pushed in by the god damn giants, unreal man

Sox swept the Astros a year they won the world series and it was a bad Sox team. Things happen. But don't let that stop your LOLs.

Another entry in the "openers are stupid" file. And I think that inning is a nice demonstration of how there was no easy choice to handle the pitching. You're going to have to use some untrustworthy guys to work through a game that you only got 3 and change from your starter. Looking like a nice team loss brewing. I'd recommend not losing your minds over it but seems like that train has left the station

There's 10 division games between today and the next off day, tough call to go to the pen after 4 here when they already used Hudson too.

Well once it was tied you could' ve gone to your better pitchers to try to win this game or save them until tomorrow and your best guys arent available for the 1st game of the division series.

My personable feeling is go for it this game and have your best guys rested a day for the next series.

They are just trying to hold on until one of McDougal, Smith, Smith, Thorpe, Adams are ready. When that is, who knows?

The only thing I can think of is he doesn’t like them fielding grounders. Does anyone use flippers anymore?

I get not wanting to wear any, but once you lose one I think it forces your hand a bit.

Giants are scoring more than 9 today, Sox pitching is so fucking awful

Not anytime soon…

They are two games over 500 and in the wild card spot currently. Can't be as bad as you make it sound everytime a single bad thing/game happens.

That wasn’t on him. Venable and Vargas blew it

Sometimes a guy just needs to do his job. That s%*# is on Fedde to get through 3 2/3 today. Brutal schedule coming up so can’t burn through the pen to baby your 4/5 starter who is no longer an MLB caliber pitcher. You lose the game you lose the game…bailing him out there could cost you multiple games due to a depleted pen.

Will be an interesting decision who goes when Hays comes back. Could do Acuna, but you end up with a lot of outfielders and not so many infielders. Could drop Kelenic but you're pretty right-handed. I might actually lean towards dropping Grichuk.

Just guessing he’s the next one up you fucking incel. Beat it.

He’ll get killed in the majors.

I think its just some weird coping/defense mechanism

Agreed. At least Adams is starting tonight.

On the plus side, we probably get to see some Acuña action. Give the people what they want.

Sucks that Pereira had a setback. It’s quite difficult to trust this training staff

Meh. If they were up a couple then sure, maybe you go for the potential win in front of you, but burning your better arms for a game you're not even favored to win is the worst of both worlds.

The next 3 series will be the most important stretch of the season to date, so I'm okay prioritizing that stretch. Vargas needs to catch the ball.

Acuna is the easy call but I think he is out of options.

Lmao you gotta be shittin me

Devers is about to get booed to hi-heaven

I think the conditions here in SF might be a little challenging

Not enough to drop two pop flies.

What a lazy ass.

It's a great play by Chase to know to be there and of course to complete the catch. And nice by Mune to have his bearings enough to throw it over there
