We're better off platooning him at DH for the rest of the year. He's probably gonna end up with a wRC+ around 100, which while not ideal, is not the end of the world. I also don't think he's really blocking anyone down in the minors unless you think Gonzalez should be DHing over him. You wouldn't bring up Montgomery to take his spot as a DH.

Imagine what the RBI totals would be for the actual good players on the team if we hadn't spent 24 games with Benintendi batting somewhere in the 1-5 spot. When he's anywhere between 1-5 and in the lineups, coming into today, he's about a .230 hitter with with 3 walks and 31 K's and 3 HR's. That's someone who doesn't get on base, and doesn't drive in runs. Again, its baffling to me that they keep putting him in those spots and yet he's there almost 50% of his appearances. Im done throwing cold water on this thread, we all know he's not good. Sox won and shut out the Twins, turn your attention to that.
