If you’re afraid to add him to the 40 man roster, then keep him as a SP in AAA and treat as an insurance policy in the event other SP options don’t work out. But why create more of a roster crunch to add him to an already overcrowded bullpen? I personally think he’d likely be an upgrade over Schultz & Fedde right now.

That said, I don't have interest. His medical history scares me.
