Saturday at 05:48 PM4 days What do you think about trading Meidroth while his value is high? Assuming there is some interest in him. Who knows if teams would want to go after him in the middle of the season as opposed to a cheaper rental. He would be replaced by Sam and the plethora of middle infield depth this team has (Roch likely included).baseballsavant.comChase Meidroth Stats: Statcast, Visuals & Advanced Metrics(2026) Avg Exit Velocity: 87.7, Hard Hit %: 36, wOBA: .326, xwOBA: .287, Barrel %: 5.Looking at his stats and metrics, he seems like a prime candidate for regression. He's outperforming the hell out of his expected stats. .326 wOBA vs .287 xwOBA. He's literally in the bottom 3rd percentile for bat speed. That's a slow ass swing. Maybe I'm making too much of that and it doesn't matter. And maybe other teams will see all this stuff and not want to touch him.I've seen people say he's the heart of the team and it's crazy to trade him. What do you think? Should we try and trade him? Saturday at 05:55 PM4 days No. Doesn’t he have the best fwar of any 2nd basemen in the AL? I thought I saw that, either on a telecast or on this board?

Saturday at 06:30 PM4 days Feels like people have been in a rush to move on from Meidroth basically since he debuted, and I really don't understand why.

Sunday at 12:33 AM3 days It has taken decades, yes even longer than '05 or '90 or '83 or '77 to put together a group of young, upcoming position p,layers that are as cohesive and solid as the 2006 White Sox. Now it is only a matter of keeping this group together. They are only going to get better.
Sunday at 01:07 AM3 days It’s not crazy. A classic dilemma. Also, a classic setup that makes it a doable proposition exists.

Sunday at 12:15 PM3 days I would say no at this time and for the rest of the 2026 season. Going forward the White Sox do have plenty of options at 2nd if they ever decide to move on from Chase.Chase is 24 and is only getting better in my opinion.

Sunday at 03:02 PM3 days As soon as we get a lineup with about 6 MLB-quality hitters, we want to trade one
