It has been rained out though so I can continue to monitor firsthand how brilliant/idiotic my bet was.Lineup below. Teel sits against the lefty. Need Burke to go deep in this one. In an ideal world, he and Meidroth platoon at 2B.

Ramirez has been a thorn in the side of White Sox pitching as all Sox fans know... Guardians line-up looks pretty weak right now. Shut them down and sweep the series.

He kills RH relievers to the tune of a 1.092 OPS for the season (19-52 with 8 XBH).But in his actual ABs vs LH starters specifically, he's 4-20. Against lefty relievers, 3-21.Agree that he's a gamer regardless, but fine with him not leading off vs. LHSP for now.

We have no idea how the numbers break down, but what we do know is that in 48 PAs against LHP (in total), he's hitting .171. So clearly, he wasn't hitting against the left handed starters in those games. Keep in mind Will is also hitting him lower in the order to minimize those PAs in games against a LHP. So in that sense, it's working. You want him in there later on in the game to gain the platoon advantage and not have him take a bunch of PAs against pitchers he might struggle against.
