Are you insinuating they won't hit in October?

We all know October in Chicago is not as bad as April in Chicago.

season high water of mark of 6 over .500 in reach tonight. Be nice to take this series and then try and win 2 of the remaining 4 for a positive trip.

  • Drew Romo. Teach Gonzo how to catch, like all shortstops should.

Also a playoff game is just entirely different. It ain’t April.

Too true

I don’t think that team then believed they could win. I also remember Quero being involved in a lot of the suckage.

lake moderates both ways, especially in the turbo charged era.

I checked this morning, Sox were +10000 to + 7500 to win division in March. A life changing bet for anyone that put down even like 50 bucks if it hits.

They were good but not that good, got em at +3500 end of Feb

Nice

Kicking ass, taking names. Am I on the right website?

They get back here and they’re better. Coaching.

Call me crazy but even though I love Mune's power, I don't love his K rate. I love what Gonzalez has shown, contact, putting the ball in play. I understand though that you want more power from your 1B position but I love this JGon kid

I get it but Mune also has an elite eye at the plate. We haven't had someone like him since Dunn. And when Dunn was healthy, like in 2012, he was pretty phenomenal. I remember Getz saying that he didn't have a problem with the strikeouts because he knew he would also get close to that in walks. I think the better way to Judge him is by .ops. His .ops is pretty high.

Coaching, coaching, coaching. Unsung heroes. And Getz having a clue.

The new CHSN podcast has a great interview with the hitting coach going over his process. They've really worked with the players on being patient and forcing pitchers to work deep into counts.

Sure is refreshing seeing even a 680 OPS out of Gonzo, holding his own, giving us some value here and there. I'm used to just seeing guys come up and completely fail.

Meidroth, ANtonacci, Teel, Colson , Quero all did pretty good out of the gate. Shane Smith & Vasil too. Peters, Mune. Maybe you're thinking about the old Sox.

Gonzo making it hard not to like him being on the big league team.

RBI's do mean something. You keep driving in runs and it makes everyone love you.

He's a rental and that's the biggest issue. The trade ideas I've been saying for him have been crazy.

I think you’ll be surprised then. He’s THE TOP available pitcher. The big guns across the league will be pitted against one another to try and not only add him but to also keep him from potential NLCS / ALCS / WS dog fights.

He isn’t your usual rental scenario.

Gonzalez had a good game against weak pitching. Don't get carried away with projecting him as a starting player quite yet. Once Murakami comes back (maybe in a few days) Gonzalez goes back to the Minors. IF Benintendi gets traded, then the LH DH spot would be open for Gonzo.

And no Roch is not going to automatically replace Colson Montgomery, unless he can hit at a 40 HR / year clip with a wooden bat.

Yankees just got swept by the Red Sox. It really is all about when you play someone and not who you play.

Exactly.

Who’s even saying this?
