Well the fact that they are in a race where every game could matter even more significantly over time...they may want to rethink that philosophy.

Schultz seemed like the same Schultz we have seen before. You really have to use your imagination to think that he can be a consistent starter. He's gotta throw more strikes.

For years, decades, the scoreboard at Wrigley when listing American League games would have White Sox on it versus whomever they were playing.

Now and this has been the case I think since the Tribune Company bought the team, although I can't say that for sure, they list the Sox as "Chicago" versus whomever they are playing on the scoreboard.

And we're supposed to root for them? 😆

My wife once asked me how I'd feel about the Cubs winning it all, and I said it would be like the Brewers winning. It would be nice for them, their fans. I wouldn't troll them upon losing, as I hate that being done to me. in 2016, I didn't participate. I don't even think I was in the country. Didn't plan around the eventuality as I would with the Sox.

I see no reason to root for the Cubs. They tell us all the time they have so many more fans, so I think they're covered for the rooting.

The Orioles' organization is really something else.

The Sox broke another fanbase.

I admit, I do root for 2 teams. The White Sox and whoever is playing the cubs.

Sox are already wheels down in Cleveland, so hopefully plenty of time to rest and hydrate ahead of some disgustingly hot/humid projected weather

The baseball world really knows how to put a massive damper on the Sox winning a series.

Cleveland wins, the Cubs are continuing to dominate and take the attention away again. Bad day.

Nice they get to fly into BKL. It's only a few blocks from hotel/stadium. Reminds me of Billy Bishop in Toronto. You get off the plane and are pretty much already downtown.

Lip how does the scoreboard at The Rate list the cubs? I live 100 miles west of Chicago and most folks here look clueless when I mention I'm a Sox fan. Like they have no idea what I'm talking about
