Baseball is a humbling game. Hopefully the team takes some good lessons from these losses and can turn it around this weekend.

Romo cannot be on this roster after the all-star break.

Yeah, an East Coast team needing help.

Well this is the first game we outplayed them, but not by much and in baseball it's gotta be by a lot if you want any certainty. Seems pretty clear to me that the Red Sox are just better, though, and that's why there was no chance in the first two games.

The Red Sox are not a better team then the White Sox.

Bad part is Boston Would have players the sox need but they just gave them 3 straight wins to give them hope in competing in a horrible AL

Welp, season is over. See everyone next year.

I don’t think the WSox have a prayer at getting Gray.

Guess they were due for some poor offense at home. Good thing Mune is back and the athletics are coming.

Offff - f*** it. We’re officially skuffeling and I for one am happy they have a break coming up with a major reinforcement on the way.

Hopefully having Munesama back will breathe life into the boys again… because whoever said they’re flat is dead on.

Go get em tomorrow.

Red Sox with their season high of 6 wins in a row, thanks to this sweep.

lol sux swept at home, 15-18 since June 1, and then they are gonna take a high school kid who’s never faced a pitcher older than 18. good times

When the season is over, they will have improved on last year’s 61 wins, but they will be the 4th place team in this division.

🙄

Man some of you guys are such babies. Yeah it sucks. They got swept. Nobody is happy about it. But Jesus Christ man the f*** up

Zero extra base hits in a series is a recipe for getting swept.

Oakland has been struggling so hopefully our offense wakes up when Mune comes back this weekend.

I don't think they're worse than the Red Sox. But they were only 5 games over .500 heading into this series to begin with and had been playing .500 ball for over a month, so its not like this was a great team that just had a bad series. Hopefully some of the obnoxious bloomers will chill now when people point out flaws. They should have more success this weekend against the Athletics.

I liked the way Braden looked today. Had a couple tough luck outs, especially the hard hit one early in the game.

Yep, some of his better righty swings

Meh, i'd say getting swept to open the season was worse. Felt like it was gonna be a repeat of previous years.

Yes and the fact that we are saying this at the all star break says something about the quality of this team.

Listening on the radio...it sounded like he was robbed in the 9th

Young guys have hit a wall

The Sox look dead in the water right now. They have to at least take 2 of 3 against the A's to end this first half and then hopefully the break will revitalize them.

It is looking like you will only need to be a few games over .500 to get a WC spot so hopefully the Sox can get it back together and make a run at that.

Chalk it off as the Red Sox are hot, Sox in a slump. Nice having Mune back and the struggling A's...oh well, that sucked.

Ant and Colson have been fine. Vargas had a terrible series though, as did the platoon guys.

Pretty awful series. Thoroughly outplayed. Actually, bullpen was good except for Eisert.
That said, starting Grichuk and Perez, the 2 worst players on the roster, for all 3 games, is not a serious effort. It's a clown act. It's "I'm the smartest guy in the room" nonsense. Okay they hit RH - so what?
Sox have gotten a lot out of Grichuk - but he didn't suddenly become great at age 34. Pick the spots.
