Except today he's thrown it almost only to our lefties and he's gotten whiffs 75% of the times he's gotten the Sox hitters to swing at it. Not something our guys thought they would see from him.

I don't have much of a verdict on Teel so far. Hasn't been many games. Striking out a lot. A smidge of bad batted ball luck. Bat speed is way up so there might be some more power in there that could manifest soon. He's more exposed against lefties without a competent backup too, but we probably need him to just take his lumps and see if he can hit them better.

As crazy as baseball always seems to be, you can almost always count on a 2 or less run effort after you score double digit runs.
