Yesterday at 06:35 PM1 day Good start to 2nd half. Some things to clean up but pitching staff dominated this series. 15-5 outscored them.
Yesterday at 06:39 PM1 day Glad to see Braden continue to get clutch hits. He isn't fully there yet consistently but im glad his hits are coming in key spots.

Yesterday at 06:41 PM1 day Burke is an absolute joy to watch pitch. The development this season has been incredible. Just keep winning series baby.
Yesterday at 06:42 PM1 day Hell yeah! I know we wanted the win yesterday, but if we can keep winning series, we'll be in good shapeRIP Jennifer Finch
Yesterday at 06:44 PM1 day Author two biggest plays of game were Colson's HR and then Grickuk takes that possible triple away. he misses that it might be a LL HR. Kudos to Braden too for his key hits and solid defending. Obviously Burke dominated. Not sure how he throws so many strikes, but it's working. Edited yesterday at 06:44 PM1 day by chitownsportsfan
Yesterday at 06:54 PM1 day Your first place Chicago White Sox are 52-46! They win the first series out of the break and take the season series 5-1.Colson Montgomery and Sam Antonacci finish the series with more HRs in Toronto than Vlad Jr on the season...They have outscored opponents 39-7 in their last 6 games, throwing two shutouts and allowing more than 1 run only once in that stretch (in Friday's win). They are 6-4 in their last 10 road games, which would be a good trend to see continue in the second half.Win #52 came in September last year (and of course didn't come at all in 2024). They did go 10-5 coming out of the 2025 ASB though, which would be a nice thing to repeat (or surpass!)Sean Burke has been incredible lately:If he continues this form, Martin is past the worst of his struggles, and Hicks has become a solid BP weapon, their pitching needs get much more manageable.
Yesterday at 06:57 PM1 day 6-4 over the last 3 road series. Keep that trending in the right direction and we'll be in a great spot.Pains me to say it but go Cubs (and Pirates and Angels)
Yesterday at 07:24 PM1 day Looking at that guardians score.https://tenor.com/esV4bvayw9Y.gif Edited yesterday at 07:29 PM1 day by Colome's Hat
Yesterday at 07:24 PM1 day Burke pitched a gem. Great job by Montgomery & Montgomery. Good to win a road series.
Yesterday at 07:33 PM1 day Guardians losing, Twins going to lose.About to be only 4 back of Tampa for the best record in AL.
Yesterday at 07:35 PM1 day My AI series of questions was regarding the White Sox record when Mune, Colson and Miggy all started the game and at least one of them hit a HR. This is the answer. Take it for what it's worth. The Chicago White Sox regular-season record is 27–5 (.844 Win %) in the 32 games where all three players started and at least one hit a home run. [1, 2, 3, 4]This is to prevent angst in late innings when all 3 start the game and 1 of them Homers like Colson did today. You're welcome for relieving most of your late inning anguish in those games. 😉
Yesterday at 07:42 PM1 day This is the 5th time in about 5 weeks that the White Sox are 6 games over .500. It's time to break that glass ceiling and hit 7.
Yesterday at 07:50 PM1 day Colson needs 10 more homers this season to set most by a left-handed SS in a season.

Yesterday at 08:22 PM1 day Cleveland game went final, so it's a 1 game lead for the Sox.5 teams within 4 games of a WC spot though, including DET and MIN
23 hours ago23 hr Burke has been on a serious roll for over a month now.Should the Sox get into the post season he and Martin could give them a nice one-two punch. Of course you need more than that which is why I hope they can bolster the pitching staff at the deadline. Offense is still hot/cold.Romo has got to go, he's not getting it done at all. Bring back Quero or bring up Lee. Let's see what they can do Monday night against a very tough pitcher.30 more wins for a winning season. Edited 23 hours ago23 hr by Lip Man 1
21 hours ago21 hr Just about a perfect day...Sox won, Guardians lost, Twins lost, Tigers lost, Brewers won.Unfortunately it had to take a Cubs win to hand Minnesota their loss but you can't have everything.

7 hours ago7 hr It really seemed like the open roof affected the game yesterday, there was a lot of players(both sides) who finished their swings looking like they thought it was out of the park, only for it to fall short of the warning track. Colson looked like he sent that ball the to second deck and it only got to the bullpen
