I though that Teel changed his spikes after he caught a spike and injured is knee earlier.

Looked to me like all his spikes were off the ground. Looked like the toe of his shoe dug into the dirt. I'd have to see it again to be certain.

He’s a catcher so he’s built differently, but Achilles tears are one of those injuries that you know it’s bad just from the player’s reaction….it appears to be one of the most painful injuries you can suffer. Teel tried to get up after the play and tried putting weight on it. He was definitely in pain but it didn’t look like “holy s%*# that hurt I’m screaming in pain” kinda deals. Maybe a strain, if we’re lucky.

Maybe should have sent him in the first inning too, but I'll take it
