Frankly, the worst Davis pitches, the more my attitude becomes "resistance is futile" with regard to the deadline. Team isn't built for you to be picking up a replacement for Davis Martin.

I think my attitude about Griffin is that he's been good, although not as good as the 3.05 or whatever ERA suggests. And it's fair to wonder whether he can keep it given the lack of track record. But yeah, the expectation for Davis should have been that he would not continue to be a high 2 ERA guy. Not sure what a good expectation for him is right now
