Pretty obvious this is a transition staff to get them from rebuilding to competent.

If this team manages to not completely crater after this one, that's a testament to the mental fortitude of the group. Because man, if/when they lose this, it's going to HURT.

Getting 1 in that inning is obviously better than 0, but at some point you need to have a strategy that increases the likelihood of 2+ even at the cost of increasing the chance of 0. You need to move this game towards a decision. Especially when you know it's going to get harder and harder to hold them to 1 with your bullpen falling apart. So we went up there hacking hoping to get a big hit before Romo got up. Didn't work out. Oh well
