I think they just needed a couple fresh arms more than anything. Fingers crossed these two hit the ground running.

Why would you DFA Thorpe? First, there is still some obvious fat on the 40 man roster. Joe Rock, Tyler Davis, & Tyler Gilbert should be amongst the first guys to go. Second, he has all three optio

Yeah you’re gonna need to wait two more years for that confirmation

I think that's harsh.

He's young there's a lot of room to grow.

Not comparing the 2 but I still remember that a rookie Dylan cease could not be trusted to pitch in game 3 of the playoffs.

People wanted him gone too at that point and thought he would amount to nothing.

Schultz will win a Cy Young for the Brewers in 2 years after we trade him for the husk of Brandon Woodruff

Schultz literally turned 23 three days ago…plenty of time to right the ship

White Sox to call up prospect pitchers Tanner McDougal an...

With all the top-end, hard-throwing prospect pitching talent set to be in the Triple-A Charlotte rotation at the start of the season, in spring it was feasible to envision the White Sox pulling off a

Fun fact: Hagen is one of the few pro ballplayers who uses a Nokona glove. I'll be curious if Rawlings buys his loyalty upon arrival to MLB. I was always a Nokona guy when I played so I'm partial to their stuff.

Hagen has looked far nastier to me than Noah when I've watched him pitch. I think he's going to impress. What a weird song and dance to move Fedde to the pen only for Schultz to pitch half an inning before being sent down.

Wiklenman is the one who was DFA. Interesting.

Would have liked to have given him a chance in pen.

Just looked at his numbers. Nevermind lol

Not saying he is Randy Johnson but go back and look at his early years. He struggled with walks and control at his size. It might take a while for Noah to figure it out. Way to early to give up on him.

The pitching regression through the entire organization is wild. Welkommen was lights out last season and had two really good pitches.

Lights out? Check his 2025 numbers at Charlotte again.

I think this organization is now clueless on handling this year's success.

I’m 42 and still have my nokona from when I was 14. It’s completely fallen apart unfortunately but I still got it. Great glove.

Why not his MLB numbers that came later? 2.66 ERA, 3.09 FIP, 29% K rate. Some regression from that was plausible, or improvement as often happens with young players, but he's completely s%*# the bed this season along with Oppor, Schultz and others.
