1 hour ago1 hr Some things I know from personal experience as a guy who pitched with a bad shoulder...It can be hard to get fully warmed up. There's "I'm loose" but you're still feeling like there's something gumming up the works. After you've really been laboring for a while, it feels like you finally have full and smooth use of your range of motion. You do not believe you're hurt. You know something's off, but you're telling yourself it's conditioning, your routine, your mechanics, etc. And sometimes it's true! By the time you're hurt, you've had numerous times you've troubleshooted problems with the way your arm felt via all those things. You think if you're hurt, you're going to be completely unable to pitch. Since you can pitch like 85% good, you must not be hurt. So it can drag on until your effectiveness is so down that nobody lets you pitch anymore.

Pretty much slightly above average And better than we all expected.I'm talking the organization as a whole. The pitching development has been garbage. There's stories about how many things they're trying to tweak at once with Schultz. Schultz and Hagen Smith have looked bad. Oppor has been a disaster. The lack of pitching from the minors is going to hurt the rebuild.

Also gonna say right now, as much as I like Peters, I think Doyle is a very clear upgrade.Dude had a 20 game on base streak going and people were like "what happened to this dude?"Surprisingly, Chuck Goof-fien did a pretty good interview with some Japanese ball beat writer who said something like, "expect him to go through some home run draughts but he'll still get on base".and yeah, o'doyle rules. Burke is a stud. Kay has been excellent and better than e thought. Martin has gone bad the last few weeks. Fedde has been fine and I think better than expected. Schultz has been the biggest disappointment.
1 hour ago1 hr Grichuk had a couple fastballs to hit and a hanging curve, but was very in between that at-bat.

It's definitely concerning for the future
