Lol at the people who thought Mune had been figured out

he seems to be doing better and better vs LHP

This guy for Cleveland doesn’t have much either. Let’s get to him.

Guardians defense has been atrocious this series. They are giving away baserunners like halloween candy.

Need Vargas to start hitting again

Grichuk sucks right now

Some things I know from personal experience as a guy who pitched with a bad shoulder...

  1. It can be hard to get fully warmed up. There's "I'm loose" but you're still feeling like there's something gumming up the works. After you've really been laboring for a while, it feels like you finally have full and smooth use of your range of motion.

  2. You do not believe you're hurt. You know something's off, but you're telling yourself it's conditioning, your routine, your mechanics, etc. And sometimes it's true! By the time you're hurt, you've had numerous times you've troubleshooted problems with the way your arm felt via all those things. You think if you're hurt, you're going to be completely unable to pitch. Since you can pitch like 85% good, you must not be hurt. So it can drag on until your effectiveness is so down that nobody lets you pitch anymore.

Grichck yikes

Now? Has been for a while.

The numbers refute that.

ERA 13th in mlb

WHIP 14th

Runs allowed 17th

His allowed 10th

Far from a disaster. Pretty much slightly above average And better than we all expected.

I'm talking the organization as a whole. The pitching development has been garbage. There's stories about how many things they're trying to tweak at once with Schultz. Schultz and Hagen Smith have looked bad. Oppor has been a disaster. The lack of pitching from the minors is going to hurt the rebuild.

Why did we go Grichuk instead of Hayes

Dude had a 20 game on base streak going and people were like "what happened to this dude?"

Surprisingly, Chuck Goof-fien did a pretty good interview with some Japanese ball beat writer who said something like, "expect him to go through some home run draughts but he'll still get on base".

and yeah, o'doyle rules.

Is that more the pitching coach at the major league level?

No way to tell but overall I think we all can agree that the staff is much better than expected. Burke is a stud. Kay has been excellent and better than e thought. Martin has gone bad the last few weeks. Fedde has been fine and I think better than expected. Schultz has been the biggest disappointment.

Grichuk had a couple fastballs to hit and a hanging curve, but was very in between that at-bat.

I agree with you there. Smith is a complete bust. Schultz has been a disappointment and oppor a disaster. It's definitely concerning for the future

Sox can take a really promising inning and really s%*# the bed sometimes

Colson looks so bad man. And Grichuk strikes out an insane amount with guys on base.

Colson seriously needs a few days off.

Grichuk fucked that whole inning with that awful at bat
